Neil Elsden BA ACA

Neil qualified with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Newbury where he gained experience in dealing with owner managed businesses and in particular liaising directly with the business owners. On qualifying Neil moved to a Big Four Firm based in Reading to broaden his horizons and understand the mechanisms of the larger Blue Chip companies.  He also used this time to deepen his audit experience and knowledge as it gave him exposure to a much wider variety of clients and systems. Neil returned to a small practice environment in 2001 as it was the local client contact that he enjoys and was lacking from the big firm.He now looks after a portfolio of clients based across the South of the England and relishes the opportunity to put his practical experience to good use.

Neil is still keen on audit and designing systems to help the smaller business develop into more dynamic and profitable enterprises.

Outside of work Neil spends most of his time with his young family and attempting to keep the grass in his garden both alive and tidy.  He is also a keen Liverpool FC fan and all new staff are warned to make sympathetic noises on those rare occasions when things do not go the right way!
